Research and practice seminar, one-day programme, October 2019
At STUDIOs cinematic ‘Blackbox’ room in central Malmö potential relationships of film and architecture is addressed that can inspire future practice and research. Relations of architecture, film and the visual arts are unfolded inthree thematic sessions; KNOWLEDGE CREATION, SUSTAINABILITY & FILM,AUDIOVISUAL PRACTICE.
Through state-of-the-art research knowledge, teaching and practice interdisciplinary methods, tools of spatial empowerment and knowledge perspectives are exploredfor architects, film-makers, artists, citizens and urban planners. TheSURROUNDING LAB seminar is to inspire new practices and relations as well as toinspire new interdisciplinary research, practice and projects on film andarchitecture in Europe.
