Mads Farsø (PhD) is a practicing landscape architect mdl, associate senior lecturer and programme study director for the 'landscape architecture programme' at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Alnarp. Departing from a landscape perspective and using film as a tool of registration and design, Mads researches how time and sound define spatial values of the everyday landscape, and how a greater awareness of space experienced as a sonic surrounding leads to different awarenesses. In 2008 he established the landscape architectural office Farsø Have. He co-founded and -led the Copenhagen Architecture Festival (CAFx) 2014-2017. In 2019 he initiated the Surroundings Lab.
